Nothing says ‘Happy New Year’ quite like ripping the packaging off a new organiser and writing down your plans for the next 12 months on those crisp, clean pages. Am. I. Right?!
Confession: I’m a stationery junkie. There’s few things I love more in life than trawling the aisles of Officeworks looking at all the pretty things.
Now I’m not even embarrassed to admit that I am super particular when it comes to choosing a planner, which is ironic because I am a pretty unorganised person in general. But I do have a mental checklist of things that need to be met before I will even consider making a purchase. The layout, what information is inside, the paper thickness and colour (yep, I’m that picky), and - of course - it has to be aesthetically pleasing. If I can’t Instagram the shit out of it, then I may as well not even have one! I’m joking. There are so many practical reasons to own a planner, but no one said it can’t be pretty as well. A social media prop is just one of the many benefits to owning a diary!
Every year I research my options and every year it gets harder and harder to choose which little book will not only keep my baby fried brain in check, but also guide me on my way to goal-setting victory! So here they are, my top planners of 2019 below, just for you.
Now I know what you’re thinking - It’s too late, we’re already a week into January, I’ve missed the boat! The good news is that you haven’t. There is a never a wrong time to start setting goals or organising your life. In some cases you may actually benefit from being a little late off the mark, as some diaries and planners at this time of year come with a discount, and everyone knows that when you buy something on sale you make money and I think that’s a pretty great way to start off the year!
